Behind the Scenes of a Newborn Session
After becoming a parent I realised there were no local family photographers with the style we liked.
So I decided to train up, go from weddings to portraits, and develop a local family photography business.
It was hard and I made some mistakes, but I got the photos of my family I really liked, inspired by the outdoors and fine art style.
But the best thing was all the amazing families I have met over the last 9+ years and all the other kids I have watched grow up.
You'll never regret the time you spend with your kids and the photos of them. It only happens once.

Where do the Newborn Sessions take place?
All Newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, where you can feel relaxed and don't have to worry about taking your little one out, with everything they need.
I bring everything with me, based on what we have discussed and the photos you would like. Including backdrops, wraps, props and lighting.
I bring all my wealth of knowledge to help you get studio-quality photos in peace at home.
When is the best time for a Newborn Session?
The ideal time for a newborn session is 5-10 days old, but can be taken up to 4 weeks after birth.
When should I book my Newborn Session?
Generally, after your 12 week scan, as I am mostly booking 3-4 months in advance, but from time to time have a spare session going, so please get in contact asap.
There is only room for 2 newborn sessions max a week,
as I have to leave room if babies are late or early.
Do I need anything for the Newborn Session?
You don't need to have anything ready or purchase anything for the session, I'll bring all the props, wraps, and backdrops we will need.
If you would like to add some personal items to the photos, like a handmade knitted teddy or hat, please just let me know and have them in arms reach
How long is the Newborn Session?
Each newborn session lasts around 3 hours, giving you enough time to feed and comfort your little one during the session as needed, plus enough time so you have a good selection to choose from at your viewing.
How much do the Newborn Sessions cost?
The shoot itself doesn't cost anything upfront, so there's no risk, just a small deposit which comes off your order.
A week after the shoot, you'll be invited to a 'viewing session' in our new viewing room, where you can pick your favorites and how you would like them. Whether that's prints, digitals, or something for the wall.
Prints start at £45, Digital Packages start at £345, and Wall Art starts at £275.
All I ask for is a £50 refundable deposit to hold your session time.
How does it work?
1. Have a Chat
Fill out the online form and I'll give you a call or feel free to call me on 07837227063. We will go over what you are after, what you want to keep, and the photos you'll like to treasure.
2. Enjoy the Session
After your little one arrives we will finalise a date, depending if they are early or late, then we'll have the awesome session in the comfort of your own home, where we'll capture some artist photos of your little one for you.
3. Pick & Keep
A week after the session you'll be invited to our new viewing room at our home, where we will go over the photos taken, pick out your favorites and how you would like to keep them, prints, digitals, and wall art. The photos will then be fully edited, printed, and sent to you around 4-6 weeks later.
